  4. I am thankful to have been chosen by my friend’s husband to write and read a poem at her funeral.

  1. I’m grateful for full nights of sleep. My young children who aren’t as affected by the chaos in the world right now, and the fat flakes of snow that I can watch from my warm abs cozy couch.
