❤️Today, I am so glad the prompt is optional, I just don’t have the time or inclination to attempt the Day 8 one which requires 20 different things in a poem. So I have written a series of three haiku/senryu. It’s my age🤣 I think, or the rebel in me!❤️

oh! to write haiku 
succinct and right to the point 
a thought crystalised 

some things belong in 
classrooms while others, fly free 
swallows homeward bound 

let me write in my 
own authentic voice, true, clear 
a moment in time
