#NaPoWriMo #april #2023

Last but not least, here’s today’s (optional) prompt. Begin by reading Sarah Gambito’s poem “Grace.” Now, choose an abstract noun from the list below, and then use that as the title for a poem that contains very short lines, and at least one invented word.

Glory
Courage
Anxiety
Failure
Defeat
Delight
Confusion
Calm
Belief
Cleverness
Despair
Honesty
Deceit
Strength

Happy writing!

❤️❤️My pain levels are up today and I am so tired, but I like the prompt and the example poem, so I will be giving it a go later❤️❤️

STRENGTH

Strength comes
from life lived,
pain endured
and overcome.

Meditation helps,
a calm mind
creates the strength
to carry on
when all is lost.

Poetry and art
concentrate the
mind, connection
to the Divine
to the all-knowing
inside of us.

There all the time,
strength can be
the connection
to the wisdom
and vice versa.
It is our Daenana.
Our sixth sense.

Love lifts us up
when we are our
authentic selves.
Gives us strength
from body and soul
links with our power.

Our higher self
communicating
with our lower
self, joining
together with joy.

Soul connection
is what strength
finds in us when we
listen to the silence.
