Ypres
Let me walk in the/
poppy fields of Belgium./
Touch the Menin Gate,
lay poppy cross for a great/
uncle I have never met.
R.I.P. Gordon Crick died in WW1 at the Battle of Ypres.
His death along with approx 54,000 other soldiers is recorded on the Menin Gate.
