Footnote
My new rescue cat, Miss Molly has caught, a blue tit, an adult pigeon, a magpie and a young pigeon. She is very quick but is only a little cat and had been living feral with 2 unrelated cats in a hole in the wall. I think with the exception of the blue tit, they may be too big for her to kill on her own. Also perhaps she was the catcher and the other 2 cats finished them off?
She has brought them all into my flat maybe for my older cat to finish them off. He seems very disinterested in the whole process! I have managed to rescue all four!
The young pigeon was so traumatised after I had wrapped him in a towel to calm him down, taken him back outside. He clung to my finger for several minutes. I had to throw him up in the air before he flew away.
