Childhood Memories

Jam butties, eaten
with dirty hands, washed down with,
pop from a bottle.

Adventures outdoors,
building pretend fires with - brick
surround and twigs.

Climbing trees and Glynn
Molloy throwing a stone that,
hit my head - big lump!

Going home crying
hot chocolate, head bathed
in salt and water.

Running barefoot in grass, shoes and socks abandoned.
Childhood memories.
