mountain dew, better
known as poitin* was like
neat rocket fuel.
*poitin is pronounced as pocheen also known as the water of life and more romantically in songs as mountain dew. Legalised in 1997, I tried the illicit stuff before that. Only once, mind you as I awoke the next morning with a raging thirst, drank a big glass of water and was promptly drunk again! It took 3 days to get it out of my system. Ah the joys of a misspent youth. Lol 😆
