The shadows slide
into my mind, like worms that - grub at my ego

whispering rumours,
judgements of others going round and round - whirlpool

putting hands over
my ears does no good for
they burn like a fire

counting beads banishes
them, allows inner voice,
to rise like a Phoenix

to provide answers
to questions, truth within - will bring the light

Chase the shadows with
the light within, like sun and moon - it will prevail...
