Stunning Psychological Crime Thriller
This book kept me reading all night. I found the development of DS Jan Pearce's character intriguing as she struggles to solve the mystery of an abandoned child and then an abducted one not long after. Jacqueline Ward ramps up the tension with DS Pearce's missing son Aiden from book 1 in the series. The story twists and turns to it's horrific conclusion. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to be gripped by the story from the first chapter. Awesome writing!
