I still try
to hide you in my
poetry
but you will
come out, unbidden, like a
persistent lover.

I want to
wipe you from my mind
but find I
can't, you are
still there, stuck like the strongest
glue - inside my heart.

We are bound
by unseen silver 
cords of life
that will not
let us go ever, we stay
this way for always.
