#justsaying
I wonder sometimes🤔 if people think I am a woman who is constantly happy with my posts of 🪷Gratitude🪷, 🔆Positivity🔆, and, 🧑🦽GoodVibes🧑🦼.
I do these posts to cheer other people up and to cheer myself up too, because, no, I am not constantly happy. I don't believe as humans we are meant to be constantly happy. I believe we are here to learn and grow. Happiness is fleeting and provides us with hope to enable us to get through the challenges that life provides us with.
I find happiness in the small things in life, wild red roses growing on a neglected plant in the garden or my purring cat, curled up beside me. These small things all add up and if you try to live mindfully in the here and now, they turn out to be the things we really should care about.
I suffer from the constant pain of arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, insomnia, and occasionally, depression. There is a delicate balance between medication from the doctor, natural products, and various things like meditation, being in nature, and distraction techniques. Unlike my doctor, I believe I am the expert on my pain. I am not sure he would agree but I am!
So if you are having a bad day, it's OK. Be kind to yourself. Do something nice just for you. Read a good book, have a perfumed, candle-lit bath, or a reviving shower. Listen to your type of music. Cook yourself a nice meal. Chill, and relax.
When you get up next day, start again. Be grateful for what you have, be positive, read good vibes, and don't be hard on yourself.
Just saying...👍🙂💛❤️🌿🪴💜🐈
