There's wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
The weather forecasts sleet and rain.
I wake up in the night in pain,
Just grin and bear it - the refrain.
Such bloody scenes on our TV.
So many dead children we see.
Civilians blown up - debris,
This is the Gazan reality.
In Ukraine, the war continues
Unabated, with no break-through,
Russian fake news comes anew.
Zelenski needs planes and aircrew.
Climate change is starting to bite.
Will our world ever turn out right?
The ice is melting out of sight.
Will humans ever see the light?
I turn to prayer and meditation.
Positive thought and affirmation,
I try to raise my vibration.
I live life with determination.
