At last the rain has ceased,
But flood levels have increased,
Especially in the south east.
Colder weather brings its own beast.

So now as temperatures drop
Will ice catch us on the hop?
Frost and fog; will it bring to a stop,
Cause the transport system to flop?


This is the result of climate change
Greater winter rain, enough to derange,
Plans and journeys have to change,
Oh isn't the world odd and strange?
