a cold, monochrome month
except for Burn's night*

*Burn's night is celebrated on the 25th of January, particularly in Scotland but also in other parts of the UK. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth of the Scots poet, Robert Burns. Haggis with neeps and tatties is eaten and washed down with a dram or two of whisky. Sometimes pipers play to the bringing in of the haggis!"
