Sometimes, it is ages before I find something to recommend. I suffer from chronic pain and fatigue and often struggled to keep my legs warm in winter until I found these leggings at PRIMARK UK. (Not available online -just click and collect in store.)
They are called 'velvet plush' and are lined with faux fur. This is soft against your skin and is surprisingly warm. They cost £7 each and I have the dark blue, charcoal grey and black pairs. They wash well in the machine.
The size L/XL fit my size 18 very well. If you want to be warm and cosy at -7°C these are for you. Highly recommended. *****
