#NaPoWriMo
Last but not least, here’s our optional prompt for the day. Today, we’d like to challenge you to write a poem based on the “Proust Questionnaire,” a set of questions drawn from Victorian-era
games, and adapted by modern interviewers. You could choose to answer the whole questionnaire, and then write a poem based on your answers, answer just a few, or just write a poem that’s based on the questions. You could even write a poem in the form of an entirely new Proust Questionnaire. We have a fairly standard, 35-question version of the questionnaire laid out for you below.

THE PROUST QUESTIONNAIRE
Onwards and Upwards
is my motto, I am happy
in the here and now.
I value honesty, kindness,
humour, and I try hard not
to lie: I have no regrets.
I lack motivation, but I
love my cats and bad
manners drive me mad.
My greatest fear is WW3
with Russia and China
and maybe North Korea.
Writing poetry is my
favourite occupation, it
keeps depression at bay.
My diamonds were an
extravagance but a good
lifetime investment, too!
Favourite books are all
the Bronte sisters' novels
and Miss Jane Austen's.
Real heroes are those who
lay their lives on the line
for others, the armed forces.
Firemen who go into burning
buildings to save people, and
the volunteer Lifeboat crews.
I am happy and grateful
for all my blessings and
I count them every day!
