Rishi is out, no surprise there.
Sir Keir is in, our new PM
Heaven help us all.
It was a landslide victory for
Labour, change for working
people which bodes ill for
pensioners and the disabled.

I don't have much confidence
in Sir Keir, but I live in hope
that he steps up to the plate 
and champions all British people.
The NHS is failing patients,
with their long waiting lists.

The economy is stagnating,
The cost of living rising and
we have a skills shortage. We
have food banks in the 21st
century; feeding so many 
children in dire poverty. 

The problem of illegal 
immigration in small boats
needs urgent attention.
I am glad to see that Sir Keir
has reassured Ukraine's President Zelensky of Britain's support.

Time will tell us if he will
keep his promises, and if he 
will change politics in the UK.
I will commend him if he manages
to keep most of his promises and
return his government to service.
