Ease into
the week, it's Wednesday
already.
How can that
be? Opening up my life,
and doing more things!

During the 
Pandemic I stayed
in and was
not bothered
about going out, I wrote
poetry daily.

Now the tick
tock of life's clock tells
me time is
short, the years
are flying by, and I want 
to be part of it!

Becoming
a lady who goes out
to lunch with 
friends and then
there's improving my Spanish
and daily writing!

I attend
open mics and perform
my poems and
like being 
with people who share my 
passion! It is joyful.

So grab hold
of life by the scruff
of its neck.
For time's clock 
is picking up its pace, and
our lives are finite.
