CHALLENGING THE NARRATIVE

✈️🌶 What do we mean by challenging the narrative? Our ego if we are not mindful of our thoughts, can do a very good job of making us feel bad. It can nag us with negativity. So how do we challenge this nagging, negative ego? We do this by having positive thoughts. So when we get a negative thought, we change it into a positive one. Easy?

Well, not always, it depends for how long that invidious ego has been feeding you negative thoughts - it could be all your life! 

So one of the ways we can combat negativity is by positive affirmations. As with our gratitude journal, these need to be written down. Then you should read them aloud to your reflection in the mirror. This adds energy and potency to them. They are written in the present tense to make them immediate. These are not things that may be or will come to pass, they are happening in the here and now. Here are some of mine, but yours must reflect you and your situation in life. Again, something for you to try, what have you got to lose? Only that nagging, negative ego.🌶✈️
