Early morning, awake and ready
To face the day ahead, its joy,
And pleasure, the good things it
brings, I am grateful for each day.

Each day on my life's journey,
Taking each day as it comes.
Living in the here and now
Knowing each moment is all.

Is all we ever have, so precious
and fulfilling, a life of moments
good, bad and indifferent; 
We sense the end is approaching.

Approaching us are our final moments 
We never know the hour or that moment.
