for much kinder shores

refugees  find cold comfort
rescued from cold seas

some already dead, children,
small and innocent

small and innocent
the rescued kittens will find
their forever homes

their forever homes
await the foster children
in their futures

in their futures
children could be famous, words
wait to be written

wait to be written
