Is it me, or has the world gone mad?
We were taught that wars are bad,
Yet today's wars just make me sad
And to live in the UK makes me glad.
Yet nuclear war can reach everywhere
Putin in Russia threatens us and doesn't care.
A bomb is indiscriminate and will do more than scare,
We'll all be dust, so please don't make it a dare.
What has happened to peace for mankind?
Why are our leaders so dumb and blind?
How on earth do we find ourselves in this bind?
Solutions should be all we have in mind.
Then there is complete disregard for our planet
Fossil fuels are destroying it, damn it!
Our leaders are self appeasing gannets
Where is common sense, when you need it, Janet?
