No. 23 - The Landing

Swan flies in to
land on the lake,
comes in, on cue 
his wings - air-brake
glides serenely
to rest, routinely
bows his smooth head.

No. 24 - In Time for Tea

The heron stands
on one leg in
the lake, expands
his chest, a spin
a dive for fish
a perfect dish
in time for tea

No. 25 - Blue Tits

The blue tits fly 
to the garden
tree, each brown eye
begs your pardon
as they eat their
food hanging there,
chirps a thank-you.
