Wes Markin's third book about Whitby's forgotten victims held me in thrall right from the first page.
He writes another murder mystery with his detectives, DCI Frank Black and his partner, DI Gerry Carver, and their team. As usual, Whitby is also a character in the story this time including the famous Whitby Goth Festival. The author keeps you guessing right until the end.
I love the epilogue where all the loose ends are tied up for us.
I am looking forward to the final book in the series. ( comes out in March 2025) I do hope there is a happy ending for Frank and his daughter, Maddie. Highly recommended reading.
