The fantasy genre is not one I often read, but I went to Dan Forrester's book launch and bought the book and got it signed too.
There is action from the first page as we meet our motley crew, Dill the wannabe warrior, Wuzzbright the Wizard and the dwarf, Colossus, as they set off on their somewhat hazy quest from their Stronghold 'School'.
This is just a great adventure story with the baddie, Gorab and his crack force of Sabre Teeth, a princess to be rescued, warring half siblings, a tone-deaf siren, a 'professor' parrot, and many more tropes of the genre.
I love the way, that Dan the author, sends the whole genre up and his authentic humour is there throughout the story.
This was such an enjoyable 5 ☆☆☆☆☆
read. Highly recommended from YA to adult readers
