The day's news is all doom and gloom.
Sometimes, I wished I lived on the moon.
Then I see the red poinsettias abloom,
my Christmas decorated living room,
brings coloured lights to the winter gloom.
All the angels hardly give me elbow room,
I can smell the candles' festive perfume.
A glitzy, sparkly jumper gives me the va-va-vroom!
