Parky, Michael Parkinson's autobiography was a delightful read. I didn't want to put it down and when I had finished it I wanted there to be more.
A fine journalist, Michael Parkinson, tells an excellent story of a fascinating life full of interesting celebrities and characters, none more so than his own father, whose overriding ambition for the young Michael was that he should play cricket for Yorkshire.
Parky's story is full of humour and insight. It held my interest from start to finish.
