first light
birds sing the day in
still sleepless

No. 2
leaving
all the sorrow
behind me

No. 3
first light
I hum a tune
make the coffee9

leaving all this 
violence and chaos
peace at last

No. 5
first light the 
candles, then chant the spell,
magic will abound!

No. 6
leaving is never
easy, nor is coming back
prodigal return
