Oblivion is found in the darkness of night.
On the edge where our shadow selves dwell.
Our energy always seeks out the light.
The clash between darkness and light,
Good and evil, heaven and hell
Oblivion is found in the darkness of night.
The war inside our heads is the true fight,
Dark forces within are the ones to quell.
Our energy always seeks out the light.
Fear and failure, the ego's negative plight.
Eats at our hearts, suicide is the death knell.
Oblivion is found in the darkness of night.
Yet, our positivity can shine so bright.
Soothes our souls, sings clear as a bell.
Our energy always seeks out the light.
Quiet the ego, let love take flight
Hope will rise, phoenix like, all will be well.
