So if we can't change the world
around us, let us change ourselves
from within, let us be empowered.
When we are powerless in the outside
world, let us be grateful for what we
have, let that be enough for us all.
Yet, we must speak out against the
injustice, we see and feel, and also
experience, we must speak out for
what is right, but most of all, we
must be the light in the darkness.
For there must be light in the world.
Light shines out our hope for the
future when the greed and power
corrupts and destroys the dictators.
We must be ready to help the poor,
the disabled, the displaced, to raise
them up from the pit of their despair.
All the answers to all the questions
lie within, we have to seek them out,
shine our light in the darkest corners.
Rise up and raise our vibrations, so
we will overcome and thrive on love
and the celebration of similarities.
