I had a great afternoon out at Oldham Library on Saturday, 8th March 2025, at Bonnie Meekums, relaunch of A Kind of Family.
It was great to catch up with Bonnie and to hear her inspiring talk about writing in general and her various books. I already own a copy of A Kind Of Family and won a free copy for my friend who wasn't able to come due to illness. I bought Bonnie's self-published poetry book instead.
It was also great to meet up with the lovely writer, Jacqueline Ward, and catch up.
A bi thank you to Karina and Oldham Library for the medley of fresh fruit, cakes, tea, and coffee.
Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all.
