My author friend, Jacqueline Ward, recommended that I should read this book and told me I would love it. Of course, she was right. I do!
Emilia Hart's Weyward gives us three stories in one book. The Weyward women, Altha, Violet, and Kate are all linked by their stories of abuse at the hands of men.
From the 1600s witch trials, via wartime in WW2 to modern-day London, we are told the three women's stories. They inevitably intermingle as each woman has to fight against misogynistic men to come into their own power.
The female characters have you routing for them right from the start.
