I really love Wendy Wang's Witches of Palmetto Point stories.
There are psychics, ghosts, reapers, and in Book 11, The Kitchen Witch, sorcerers too.
Ben and Jen (the kitchen witch of the title) have a misunderstanding in their relationship as Jen's ex and her daughter's father come back into their lives.
Meanwhile, Charlie's son, Evan, goes missing on a camping trip with his father. His story of rescuing a girl from a grisly murderer has echoes of earlier stories that Charlie was evolved.
☆☆☆☆☆ Highly recommended reading.
