It was nice to return to a new series of crime stories by Wes Makin. I really enjoyed his Whitby series, and this time, the story was set in Knaresborough in Yorkshire.
The Viaduct Killings has a great plot with lots of twists and turns. The characters are three-dimensional, which makes them interesting.
I found myself rooting for DCI Gardener and the very troubled DI Riddick.
I am looking forward to further books n the series.
