The  Ballarde of the Manchester Arena Bombing

In Manchester, we said never again,
After the IRA bombed the city centre.
Yet Muslim brothers, in similar vein
Bombed the Arena, evil dissenters.
Children were at a concert, tormentor,
Evil suicide bomber took 22 souls.
In the foyer where the epicentre,
Destroyed families lives and goals!

Ariana Grande's concert: What brain
Constructed this plan, what inventor?
Made the bomb, set in motion the chain
Of evil destruction - which tormentor
Of the Abedis, found a mentor
To learn those despicable roles?
One brother dead, one an offender,
Destroyed families lives and goals!

In prison for 55 years, causes pain
To three prison guards still a tormentor,
With hot cooking oil, what can he gain?
By stabbing his guards, no surrender
In his extremism, he'll not render
His fanatical views, or evil goals.
Rotting away all he can engender
Destroyed families lives and goals!

In the Glade of light - it centres
Our rembrance of those taken too soon souls.
Never again - there must be no spectres
To destroy families lives and goals!

** On 22nd May 2017, at  22.31 the Islamist terrorist suicide bomber, Salman Abedi detonated his bomb in the foyer of The Manchester Arena at the Ariana Grande concert. He killed 22 victims including children as they came out of the concert to meet their waiting parents. 

There were 1, 017 injuries. His brother, Hasham Abedi sourced the bomb materials and was arrested and convicted of murder of 22 victims and of his brother. He was given a life sentence of a minimim of 55 years.

Ariana Grande despite suffering PTSD returned to Manchester and raised £17 million for the victims of the Bombing.

The Glade of Light is the permanent memorial to those taken too soon in this terrible tragedy.**
