I enjoyed this first DS Vicky Dodds crime thriller very much.

Ed James has created a believable and sympathetic character in Vicky. The story grabs you from the start, and the plot is deft with its twists and turns.

I liked the Dundee area vibe and felt it added to the story and characters. 

I am looking forward to reading Book 2
