🫧🎙Event Review🎙🫧Espiritu Flamenco presents *3 de Corazónes*

Yesterday evening, I went to see Esoiritu Flamenco at the beautiful Stoller Hall. Just outside Manchester's Victoria Station it was easily accessible by travelling on the tram. My lovely friend, Geli invited me.

The performance started with the guitarist, Jesús Guerrro. His talent is exceptional, his guitar becomes like a part of his body. He played the most beautiful melodic notes. His variety is extensive from quiet tune to the staccato flourish which is such a part of Flemenco music. He blends his strings with percussion like taps on different parts of the sound board of the guitar, it resonated into the wonderful accoustics of the hall. It was heartfelt and soulful.

The Flamenco singer was the equally talented, David Carpio. The singers usually sit to sing and David's control of his voice elicited the sorrow and joy of the different styles of Flamenco. His reverse vibratto was something else, to behold. He also clapped with precision and beat, the clapping which is such an integral part of the Flamenco experience

Finally we had the powerful dancing of Andrés Peña. His hand movements were exquisite storytellers as his feet rachetted up the passion of the dance. His whirling body practically took off from the stage and his facial expressions told their own story. This style of dancing includes the whole body.

The coming together of all three brought a brilliant finale to the performance. The appreciative audience clapped and cheered and they came back for a welcome encore by Sarah from Espiritu Flamenco, where she joined them in a short dance, Jesús on guitar and David and Andrés clapping along. It was a magical moment for us all as the Manchester audience took the three performers to their hearts.

I look forward to a repeat performance!

☆☆☆☆☆A five☆ peformance, that touched my soul!
