I have loved Helen H Durrant's many crime fiction novels, but this story is on another level.
From turning up at her 'own' funeral, which rocks her to her core, the story of Donna Slade has more twists and turns than Spagetti Junction!
The tension is ratchetted up as Donna tries to unravel the mystery of what is going on behind the closed doors of Max and Tara Marsden's extravagant house.
Who can be trusted? Who sent the email inviting her to the funeral of Alice Anderson?" Who is the villain, and who is the victim?
This book had me reading long into the night just to solve the mystery. Compulsive reading.
☆☆☆☆☆ Highly recommended reading.
