Earth shows us her bounteous wealth.
The greening and the growth spurt,
Summer merges with spring in stealth.
Already, flowers are in blooming health.
Grass is freshly green, upright and pert.

Burns off the mist and warms the dirt.

Roots are travelling in the soil's depth.
The thrum of life is in the very chert.

Flowers in vibrant hues bloom in health.
Showing off their petals in round skirts.

Somewhere plays a mischievous elf.
A little gnome grins in his red shirt.
