Having read books 1 - 4 in the DI Jack Macintosh Mysteries, some time ago, it was good to return to book 5 in the series.
As usual, Michelle Kidd tells an intriguing story with lots of plot twists and turns. I like the way she weaves various strands of her story separately and then brings them all together for the big finale.
The characters are well drawn and believable. Set in London, the city is like another character. It was so good to catch up with them all again.
I am looking forward to Book 6!
