Book 6, The Twelth Floor is probably the best DI Jack Macintosh Mystery story so far.
Michelle Kidd ramps up the tension as the gruesome murders keep happening. Two suspects come to light, but then they go to ground. Is it time to lure the killer out?
As usual, Jack struggles with his mental health, a gangland boss, and an unprovoked attack on himself. Having more lives than the proverbial cat, Jack pushes on to solve the case.
☆☆☆☆☆ Highly recommended reading.
