It was so good to be back in Ancient Britain and to catch up with Bellicus, the warrior druid of Britain and his cohorts.
As always, Steven A. McKay immediately plunges us into the fifth installment of his druid series.
There are friendships forged and feuding and warring between the many British tribes as the Saxon sea-wolves keep invading further and further north in their pursuit of land and slaves.
I particularly liked the character of Princess Aife, warrior woman of the Picts as she forms a friendship with the Damonii Princess Catia.
The story is enthralling and holds your interest until the end, when you vanity wait to read book 6!
