The Vengeance of Merlin, Book 6 by Steven A. McKay of his warrior druid of Britain series is a masterpiece of storytelling.
We follow the story of Bellicus the Druid of Dun Breatann as he goes to a moot called by the Merlin, the High Druid with his trusty Roman companion, Duro.
Meanwhile, the Picts and Saxons lay seige to Dun Breatann and the Damnonii tribe where his lover, Queen Narina, and his daughter, Princess Catia are in grave danger.
There is fighting, bloodshed, and the unbelievable cruelty of the Saxons to contend with.
The story twists and turns to its conclusion in an exciting, enthralling story of historical fiction at its best!
I can't wait for book 7.
