Rachel McLean's The Corfe Castle Murders is a well plotted murder mystery set in Dorset. It has some well-used tropes like DCI coming down from the big city to run the murder investigation team.
We also have the usual bunch of male chauvinist police officers whom the female DCI has to work with.
All in all, it's a good read.
