Book 8 has to be the best of the DCI Rob Marshall series. Set in the Scottish Borders, we have the perpetrator's story alongside the police investigation.
From cold case to current case, Ed James writes a well plotted crime novel. He develops some of the series' favourite characters' stories, and there is a new love interest for the DCI. I am really looking forward to Book 9!
☆☆☆☆☆ Highly recommended reading.
