Book 2 in the Dorset Crime Story series is another fast paced, police procedural.
This time DCI Lesley Clarke is a bit too close to one of the suspects.
She Is still getting used to her new team, who are a group of believable characters. I like the glimpses of the lead character's personal life that Rachel , the author weaves into the murder investigation.
This is a no nonsense story that does not go deeply into the psyche of why the murders were committed just gets on with catching the perpetrators.
I may very well return to this series.
