The light shines out to sea,
Keeping the ships from danger
People being smuggled are not free
Who will help the poor stranger?
We must be strong; you and me
In this world of danger.
People are being attacked, as you can see
Who will help the poor stranger?
Across the waves, the victims flee
From the ever-spreading danger.
Caught in wars and poverty
Who will help the poor stranger?
So many people are turning their backs,
Yet, we must pay the gangs and face the danger,
What is I that the human race lacks?
Who will help the poor stranger?
