Rain forecast for remembrance Sunday.
All the veterans, old and infirm, will
stand at the war memorial getting wet through, while the much younger dignitaries have a canopy to shelter under - what does that say about our
councils? They pay lip service to the
occasion and allow the people it's really
about to stand out in the rain and cold.
The veterans of two world wars and
many conflicts deserve better than
to be treated with such disrespect.
