Stormy weather brings lots of rain.
Trees are battered by the wind.
Only those not comfortable at home
Refrained my mum, would go out to - Meet the stormy torrential downpour.
You and I will stay safe and warm,
Within our cosy homes, reading
Endless stories, writing poems,
And drinking lots of cups of coffee.
To keep me focused and wide awake
Helping the creative process flow in
Ever increasing circles like beautiful
Ripples on the surface of a lake.
