You can tell that Roger A. Price has been in the police by his no-nonsense approach to police procedural. Inside Threat is an engaging first book in the D.S. Martin Draker Series.
The book hooks you into the story right from the start. The characters are briefly drawn unencumbered by complicated backstories. Although I am hoping for a gradual reveal in further books.
The pace of the book moves the story along nicely and is brought to a satisfactory conclusion. I have no hesitation in recommending this book, and I am looking forward to Book 2.
